Who is Aurora Mulligan?
Aurora Mulligan is a TV producer born in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
She is also Friends start Matt LeBlanc’s ex-girlfriend of almost six years.
Aurora studied politics, political science and government at Liverpool University before starting her career in television.
She worked as an Assistant Director at the BBC on programmes, including EastEnders and Holby City.
Prior to landing a job at the BBC in 2015, Aurora also worked at both ITV and Channel 5.
In 2016, when she met LeBlanc, Aurora was working as a producer on BBC's Top Gear.
She made a cameo in the programme, when she played a bride whose wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral was crashed by Matt.
When did Matt Le Blanc and Aurora Mulligan split?
Matt and Aurora split in February 2022, after almost six years together.
A source said the former Top Gear host and Aurora had “struck a clean break, but it’s still very raw”.
The source said: “Matt and Aurora’s relationship has run its course. It’s all over.
“It’s a huge shame and Matt has taken the news particularly hard, as anyone would.
“He and Aurora fell for each on Top Gear and although there was a pretty big age gap they were a really great match.
“But when he announced he was leaving Top Gear and took on other work, it was hard for them. He’s mainly based out of LA and was travelling a lot while Aurora was working in the UK.”
Aurora was first linked to Matt in 2016, not long after the actor was announced as the new star of Top Gear.
The pair were seen out and about on numerous occasions, including the Hickstead Derby.
An insider told The Sun at the time: “They were very tactile and Matt seemed to be very taken by Aurora as he laughed chatted intimately with her.
"Aurora just kept laughing at all his jokes and is clearly besotted with the American superstar."
On February 19, 2018, Aurora joined Matt at a Top Gear screening.
