Emmerdale spoilers: Laurel Thomas and Bob Hope give into temptation and rekindle their affair as his wife Brenda walks in
The former lovers get close once more - but just as the cafe owner's wife arrives
UNABLE to keep their feelings for each other bottled up any longer, Laurel and Bob give in to temptation again and end up passionately kissing – just as Brenda walks into Laurel’s house.
Will Brenda finally learn that the vicar’s widow is Bob’s other woman?
Despite trying to avoid each other and deny the fact they’re into each other, Bob and Laurel are drawn closer when her dead husband, Ashley’s, memorial window at the church is cruelly smashed by vandals.
Bob tries to help a devastated Laurel fix the window, but with electricity crackling between them, it gets too much for the café-owner and he flees.
Fate pushes the pair together later in the week when Laurel is hit by Jimmy King’s car as he accidentally reverses into her.
News of the accident leaves Bob reeling and, panicked that something terrible has happened to Laurel, he heads over to Mulberry Cottage.
A distressed Bob then tells Laurel he thought she was dead, and it’s not long before the pair fall into each others’ arms, kissing the faces off each other.
Elsewhere, Brenda is looking for Bob and Laurel’s dad Doug Potts tells her he saw him heading to Laurel’s.
Oblivious to what’s going on at the cottage, Brenda heads over there in search of her missing partner.
Bob and Laurel are still kissing in the kitchen when Brenda pushes the door open and they don’t realise they have company – but will Brenda catch them in the act?
Emmerdale fans were shocked when it was revealed Bob and Laurel had slept together when Emma Barton’s killer was revealed in December.

Since then the duplicitous pair have been going out of their way to avoid each other.
Bob confessed to Brenda that he’d cheated but didn’t reveal who with.
Looks like that cat is about to come hissing and spitting out of the bag.
