THE Affair actress Ruth Wilson says she gets paid less than co-star Dominic West.
The Golden Globe winner, 36, and The Wire star Dominic, 48, have starred in the Showtime drama since 2014.
She said: “I definitely get less money than a male in my situation would.
“Certainly when I signed up to that project, I would have got paid less."
“Even after a Golden Globe I’m not going to be on parity. I don’t know what the figure is, but I’m sure he does.”
Asked whether she’d spoken to him about it, she told the Radio Times: “It’s quite hard to bring that up.
"But it needs to be an open discussion.
"I don’t want more money, I just want equal money. Which means men have to take less.”
