GEMMA Atkinson and Gorka Marquez couldn't keep their hands off each other as they soaked up the sun during their romantic beach holiday in Tenerife.

The Strictly stars finally confirmed their romance this week, and were clearly enjoying each other's company as they relaxed together on a sunbed.

They have both been sharing sweet snaps from their romantic break on social media since jetting off to the sunny destination together.

The former Emmerdale actress has grown increasingly close to the professional dancer in recent months after meeting on last year's series of Strictly Come Dancing.

While the pair had previously denied a romance, and insisted they are just friends, Gemma finally went public with their relationship on Instagram on Valentine's Day.

The snap showed them sitting on a rock together, with Gemma leaning her head on Gorka's shoulder.

After wrapping on the Strictly live tour at the weekend, the couple clearly couldn't bear the thought of being apart, and jetted off to sunnier climes to enjoy some time one on one.

The dancer also shared a snap of himself heading into the sea shirtless and added a rather telling caption which appeared to pay tribute to his girlfriend.

He wrote: "Happy Valentine’s Day♥️!!

"Surround yourself with people who make you smile, laugh, be a better you, who loves you and cares about you.

"Never forget to tell them how much you love them..."
