Dani Dyer spotted for the first time with her arm in a sling after dramatic accident that forced her off Survival Of The Fittest
DANI Dyer is still battling with her Survival of the Fittest injury as she was pictured for the first time with her arm in a sling on Thursday.
The 21-year-old was accompanied by her mum Joanne Mas as she paid a visit to a medical centre for a check-up on her shoulder, which was dislocated during her first challenge on the new ITV2 show.
Days after admitting she was "heartbroken" about having to leave the series, the daughter of EastEnders favourite Danny Dyer looked a little downcast as she ventured out with her mother.
The brunette - who is poised for a slot on the upcoming series of Love Island - rocked a chic sweater dress and heeled boots for the outing, while her mum opted for a casual over-sized jumper and Timberland boots.
Showing off their close bond, the mother-daughter duo chatted incessantly on the outing, with Joanne even stopping to check her daughter's sling was properly adjusted.
Dani suffered the misfortune of sustaining the injury just seconds into her first challenge - careering headfirst down a waterslide - on the show and was forced to abandon the series by producers who ruled it unsafe for her to continue its physical nature.
Revealing her upset at having to pull out of the programme, Dani later wrote on Instagram: "
Dani was also sent well-wishes from her actor father who joked that his health probably couldn't have withstood her lasting another three weeks in the show.

Sharing a shot of them together, he wrote: “Live and Let Live baby girl. Taken out by a b*****ky slide. Don’t think my heart could have taken another 3 weeks of that caper. #proud.”
Before her exit, Dani had caught the eye of cheeky Welsh student Callum Pardoe, though she told The Sun that her famous father would not be impressed if she had sex on TV.
“I’ll even have to resist kissing and wait until I get out. He’s massively protective but I haven’t had many boyfriends so he’s had it quite lucky, until now.”
