RAY Panthaki is returning to TV for the second series of ITV crime drama Marcella, reprising his role as DI Rav Sangha.

Who is Ray Panthaki?
Ray Panthaki was born in London on 20 January 1979 - that makes him 39.
He's best known for his role as Ronny Ferreira in EastEnders between 2003 and 2005, and has enjoyed success across stage and screen.
Ray has also appeared as Hassan B - the nemesis to Sacha Baron Cohen's Ali G in Ali G Indahouse.
He has twice performed with the Royal Court Theatre in London and in 2014 he was announced as one of BAFTA's Breakthrough Brits.
His other credits include 28 Days Later, Rehab, Tube Tales, Provoked, Interview with a Hitman, It's a Wonderful Afterlife and the 2006 film Kidulthood which he also produced.
Ray made his West End theatrical debut in July 2008 in the play In My Name at the Trafalgar Studios.
What is Marcella series two about?
Series two of Marcella throws viewers straight back into the thrilling drama.
Marcella is alerted to the discovery of a schoolboy's dead body enclosed in a wall, surrounded by toys and a school blazer.
It soon transpires that this is Leo Priestley, a boy who was abducted a few years ago and was friends with Marcella's own son.
Anna Friel plays Detective Sergeant Marcella Backland, a troubled character who in the first series became a suspect and a witness in the murder case she was trying to solve.
Nigel Planer and Keith Allen have joined the cast as a pop star and his manager respectively.
Ray takes on the role of DI Rav Sangha.
