Lucy Mecklenburgh hints she could join boyfriend Ryan Thomas in Neighbours for cameo role
LUCY Mecklenburgh may have swapped the grey skies of Essex for the sun of Erinsborough.
She’s shared a photo and hinted that she could have a cameo role in long-running Australian drama Neighbours.
Lucy’s boyfriend Ryan Thomas has landed a part on the show playing Rafael Humphries, a new guy in town who seems to have a creepy obsession with Paul Robinson.
Fans of the Channel 5 show watched as Rafael stole a key at Lassiter’s hotel during a 1990s themed party. He then rifled through Paul’s belongings, got weird with a chess piece, and stood over Paul as he slept.
And Lucy has shared a snap of herself with Stefan Dennis who plays Paul, plus Alan Fletcher who plays Karl Kennedy.
She captioned it: “Make sure u tune in to @neighbours hit & run 10pm channel 5 tonight!!! U may see a new mysterious character.”
Fans were quick to speculate that Lucy herself would be appearing in the show.
One exclaimed: “Say whaaat are you on Neighbours???”
And another: “I knew Ryan was going to be in it but from this picture I thought Lucy would be in this episode.”
Lucy and Ryan are currently in the UK and this week enjoyed a pre-Valentine’s Day date at swanky Manchester restaurant Rosso, where a three-course Valentine’s meal which includes a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Rose costs a cool £300 “per booth”, followed up by a trip in a Rolls Royce.
The ex-Towie star is one of a number of celebs who have wished their fans a happy Valentine’s Day with a sultry under-crackers snap.
She posted a picture of herself in a romantic red slip to Instagram, saying cheekily: “Valentines night in or night out?”
