Mandel Bruce "Mandy" Patinkin, 65, was born November 30, 1952, and is an American actor.
He is best known for his portrayal of Inigo Montoya in the 1987 movie The Princess Bride.
He has also had major roles in TV shows such as Chicago Hope, Dead Like Me, and Criminal Minds.
Mandy's biggest TV role to date is playing Saul Berenson in Homeland.
His character is Carrie Mathison's (Claire Danes) mentor and to some extent, her protector at the CIA.
