DANCING On Ice star Jake Quickenden may have to perform with a reserve partner this weekend after pro Vanessa Bauer has been struck down with the Norovirus.
The reality hunk, 29, who’s favourite to win the competition, may even be granted a free pass to next week’s show if Vanessa doesn’t make a full recovery.
Jake and his pro partner were planning to impress judges by performing risky move the head banger this week but have been forced to put rehearsals on hold due to Vanessa’s illness.
A TV insider said: "Vanessa has been diagnosed with Norovirus after being taken ill this week.
"The couple had planned on tackling the head banger this week but that's now in jeopardy as they may not have enough time to train.
"Jake may even have to perform with a reserve partner or be given a free pass to next week's show if the pair are unable to compete."
Lemar was the latest celebrity to be eliminated from the ITV show after landing in the skate-off for the fourth time.
The singer lost his place after judges voted for Donna Air to remain in the competition for another week.
Jake topped the leader board after recreating a wedding for his loved-up performance with Vanessa.
Speaking about their performance on Sunday Vanessa said: "I was actually really happy, it was just a fun young number. I was relieved that the spin went right."

Jake has wished his partner a speedy recovery but is evidently worried about his routine on Sunday.
He said on Instagram: "So we hit a road block at training as Vanessa has got the flu and I can't come into contact with her for 72 hours.
"So we haven't got a routine, I don't know what I am going to do."
