LOVE Island’s Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever got married today live on Good Morning Britain.

The pair became the first Islanders to get hitched, with newly ordained Richard Arnold reading their vows.

And in keeping true to their Love Island roots, Jess wore a white bikini and veil, and Dom donned white trunks, while Jeremy Kyle, Kate Garraway, and Charlotte Hawkins watched on.

The shock wedding occurred during their interview with Kate and Jeremy when Richard Arnold showed up and told them he had two rings and asked if they “fancy getting spliced live on Good Morning Britain”.

Jess replied, “You’ve got it all planned, so… yeah,” as they both stripped off and walked down a wonky “budget” carpet, as a crew member put a veil on Jess and gave her a bunch of flowers, and Dom whacked a bowtie on.

Dom’s vows stated that he would “share his life on social media” with Jess because she was “his type on paper”, as he slipped the ring onto Jess’s finger.

While Jess promised not to “pie Dom off even if Muggy Mike comes along”.

Richard then pronounced them man and wife as Jeremy, Kate, Charlotte, Alex Beresford and Nadia Essex threw confetti over them.

The pair said that they’ll also be having a wedding in Mykonos later this year, but for now it looks like they have had a Valentine’s Day they won’t forget.

However they can’t go calling themselves Mr and Mrs yet due to one vital legal issue.

A source told The Sun Online: “The ITV studio isn’t sanctioned for a wedding ceremony, so it’s technically not legally binding.”

Jess and Dom got engaged last September, just months after meeting in the Love Island villa.

26-year-old hunk Dom got down on one knee and popped the question in London in September.

Speaking to , Jess said: "It happened the night before the TV Choice Awards. We were staying in a lovely apartment in London.

"Dom filled it with flowers and had got us a bottle of champagne ... I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat when Dom got down on one knee - he said afterwards that he had never seen me smile like that!"

Dom was initially planning to propose abroad but realised there was no time to book a holiday due to their work commitments and he was so desperate to get engaged.

He explained: "If I'd waited I don't know when it would have had time to do it because we're so busy at the moment. It felt like the right time."

Jess, 23, said: "We're thinking next summer. I've been thinking about my wedding day since I was a little girl so I've got loads of ideas.

"We'd like to do it abroad, either in the south of France or somewhere in Greece like Santorini. We don't want a big wedding, I only want our close friends and family there because, to me, that is what your wedding day is about."
