MICHELLE Connor will break down when she meets her estranged son Ali Neeson on Coronation Street.
The Bistro manager - who is played by actress Kym Marsh in the ITV soap - will come face to face with her biological son when she cuts herself and needs medical treatment, but it's not the happy reunion she expects as he quickly excuses himself and leaves her with another doctor.
"Haven't heard from you in years and here you are, in the doctors' surgery," she says trying to engage him in conversation.
"How long have you been here? When were you going to tell me?" she asks as he avoids answering before making an excuse to leave and sending another doctor in to finish up.
Michelle begins to sob as she faces up to the fact her son wants nothing to do with her.
It was recently revealed that as well as Ali, her non-biological son, but the one she raised in his place, Ryan, will return too.
Speaking on This Morning, Sharon Marshall confirmed the news saying: "Cast your mind back to 2008 when there was a story with Michelle, and you might remember that it turned out her son wasn't her biological son – there had been a baby swap in the hospital.
"This was the kid that she had with her late partner Dean, he was switched at birth and she brought up another boy called Ryan as her own.
"Ryan is also going to be coming back to the show as well."
Meanwhile Liz feels caught in the middle when Ali asks her not to tell Michelle he is around. But when Michelle has to go to the med centre after cutting herself with a knife she is gobsmacked to come face to face with her doctor son.
Ali as he tends to her cut hand Michelle tries to talk to Ali and ask about his placement and why he hasn’t been in touch but Ali refuses to be drawn. Robert tells Michelle she should try again and Liz implores Ali to go and see his mum - will mother and son be reunited?
The Sun Online revealed how actor James Burrows - who played Denty in Mount Pleasant - has already begun filming in the role after previously impressing with roles in BBC One thriller Prey, Safe House and Love, Lies and Records.

She later discovered husband Steve McDonald had had a one night stand with Leanne Battersby when they were on a break, resulting in a son named Oliver, and she was later stalked and kidnapped by former flame Will.
Now she is facing financial troubles after boyfriend Robert Preston began gambling after his stint in prison, and she faces supporting him as he battles testicular cancer.
