Stephanie Snowdon axed from Geordie Shore after lying about having ‘unfinished business’ with Aaron Chalmers
She joined the show last year alongisde fellow newcomer Sam Gowland
GEORDIE Shore's Stephanie Snowdon has been axed from the MTV show after just one series, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal.
Stephanie joined the show alongside fellow newcomer and former Love Island star Sam Gowland.
They filmed the current series in Newcastle last September but Steph won't be jetting to Australia with the others to film the next instalment.
A source told The Sun Online: "Stephanie has been fired after the first series.
"She lied to producers and said she had unfinished business with Aaron and then came in and did nothing about it.
"She's been sacked and won't be going to Australia to film with the rest of them."
Steph is the most recent casualty of the MTV series after Scotty T was axed after being pictured "snorting a suspicious substance".
Celebrity Big Brother winner Scotty “fled the country” after he was videoed in December rolling something in his hand before placing the item in his nostril and bending over to inhale.
The footage was taken by a passer-by outside TV studios where Scotty was filming for Just Tattoo Of Us.
His behaviour was deemed "unacceptable" by MTV bosses and he was given the boot after six years on the show.
It comes after The Sun Online revealed two hot Australians would be joining the cast for a special Down Under version of the hit show.
An insider said: “The cast will be filming in Australia and they’ve been told to expect some surprises – including two hot locals.
“They’re all buzzing to start filming and love when MTV send them on an adventure like this.
“It makes the show feel really fresh and exciting. Bosses are keeping the identity of the two people completely under wraps but they’re being brought in to really shake things up in the group.”
The Sun Online also revealed Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers had also decided to leave the show.
Fans will still be able to keep up with their antics however, as the veterans of the group are in talks to get their own spin off shows.
A rep for Geordie Shore told The Sun Online they did not wish to comment at this time.
