MAX Beesley flirted outrageously with Lorraine Kelly on today's show - and told her she looks like Jennifer Lopez.

The 46-year-old appeared on the ITV show to discuss the new series of his hit show, Jamestown, but couldn't help but turn on the charm with Lorraine, 58.

Stopping mid-sentence, Max said: "I'm not being funny by the way but have you ever been told you look like Jennifer Lopez?"

Lorraine gave a bemused look at the camera before replying: "You are being funny".

But protesting his innocence, Max said: "I'm being serious!"

With a giggle, Lorraine replied: "Behave yourself! Maybe Jennifer Lopez's great aunt who has been dead for five years."

But Max told her to stop being "ridiculous", adding: "You look lovely, I just got it then, a right JLo vibe."

When Lorraine asked whether he had met the Jenny from the Block singer during his time spent living in America, Max replied he had and that she is "amazing".

With a big smile on her face, Lorraine said: "I'm sure she is, you've made my day now."

Earlier this year, Lorraine revealed she is selling her £800,000 home in Dundee and buying a pad in London

The star has made the decision because she's sick of commuting and wants to spend more time with her husband.

The star has been married to Steve Smith since 1992, and the pair live together in Dundee in a house they've owned since 2010.

However, Lorraine travels to London weekly for her various TV commitments and the travelling - the journey takes at least six hours from London's Kings Cross - is starting to wear her down.
