Nathan Massey shares funny throwback of him and Cara De La Hoyde with Love Island baby
NATHAN Massey has shared a funny before and after picture showing the amazing journey he and Cara De La Hoyde have been on.
The first image shows the couple on Love Island in 2016 with a doll as part of a baby challenge, while the second one sees them now – with their real baby.
The couple became parents to a little boy called Freddie-George in December of last year, less than two years after they played at being parents on the ITV show.
Sharing the shot, Nathan wrote: “This pic really puts life into perspective 😂😂😂👍🏼 wow.”
Not surprisingly their fans loved the shot and took to Instagram to comment on it – with many remarking how similar he looks to Nathan.
One person wrote: “He's your double, such a beautiful little boy 🌈.”
While another joked: “You look worse with the doll! 👶🏽” and someone else commented: “You guys look less exhausted with the real baby 😊.”
Cara and Nathan welcomed their first child just before Christmas and Cara said at the time "heart could burst" with the amount of love she already has for her baby.
The pair revealed he was born 12 days after his due date after Cara was induced and warned she could spend four days in hospital.
Cara told : "I’d been sat in the bath for two hours.

"I did plan on having a water birth, but I was very much of the mind set that whatever happens, happens. I couldn’t have an epidural as I was too far gone."
Cara and Nathan first met on Love Island 2016 where they went on to win the show together.
They announced they were expecting their first child back in May 2017 after a tumultuous relationship since leaving the ITV show, which saw them split before reconciling in time for the birth of Freddie.
