Who is Tia Latham, how old is she and who replaced her on Survival of the Fittest?
THE Savannah is hotting up by the minute judging by the contestants who are competing on winter Love Island 2018.
Tia Latham signed up and was ready to face her fears on Survival Of The Fittest - but unfortunately became the first girl to leave. Here's all you need to know about her.
Who is Tia Latham?
Tia Latham is a 28-year-old model from Buckinghamshire.
She was looking forward to the adrenaline rush that would come from pushing herself, facing her fears and taking risks.
Tia thought her individual back-story would be unlike anyone else on the show. She said that when she was born 'nature was confused' - by which she meant she had female chromosomes but her body 'didn't know which direction to go in' so she had to 'go through a process to become the woman I am today.'
However, she also thought that her intelligence and competitiveness would help her stand out and admitted that she doesn't ever like to lose.
What has Tia Latham said about Survival Of The Fittest?
Tia thinks that the girls will win because women are natural at multi-tasking, whilst men can only focus on one thing at a time.
She was looking for mates over dates, but couldn't completely rule out finding love.
If a lad were to catch her eye he'd likely be 'tall, handsome and a bit exotic looking' with plenty of intelligence and a good sense of humour.
But if he snored, or said one thing and then did another, she'd go off him immediately - as these are traits she can't stand in people.
Tia was replaced by Mettisse Campbell.
What is Survival of The Fittest about?
Survival Of The Fittest sees a group of hot, young singles sent to the South African Savannah to take part in the ultimate battle of the sexes, involving mental and physical challenges.
But the strength of the ladies and gents is not the only thing being tested.
Throughout the series, the contestants will have the opportunity to romance the opposite sex - but only at the expense of their team's chances in the competition.
Will they choose dates over mates, and find themselves in bed with the enemy? You can count on it...
As with Love Island, viewers will be able to vote off the contestants that don't tickle their fancy.
They will also be responsible for choosing which of the sexes comes out on top.
