Mel B packs up her leopard print suitcase and jets back to LA after Spice Girls reunion
MEL B clearly didn't wannabe hanging around in the UK - after being pictured heading to the airport a day after the Spice Girls reunited.
But despite it being six years since all five women had been in the same room together, Mel, 42, was keen to get back to LA - where she now lives - as soon as possible.
Wearing a pink velvet tracksuit with matching hat, scarf and sneakers, Mel covered her eyes with a pair of sunglasses as she was seen leaving her London home to head to Heathrow Airport this morning.
Once at the airport, Mel showed off her spicy side and her trademark leopard print thanks to her suitcase and laptop bag.
With a backpack slung over her shoulder, the star checked her phone before heading for her flight and jetting back to California.
Mel C, Mel B , Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner posed for their first picture in six years as they reunited to discuss the Spice Girls reunionHer departure comes 24 hours after the girl band delighted fans around the world with their first group picture in six years.
The stars were joined by their old manager Simon Fuller at the mansion a day after The Sun Online exclusively reported the band were getting back together.
Not to be left out, Geri, 45, wrote: "Lovely seeing the girls #girlpower is alive and well" and Mel C, 44, added later in the day: "As usual, I’m a bit late to the party! Some of you may have seen this photo doing the rounds today... Love y’all."
The five will get £10million each for new projects — with Posh believed to have sought assurances she will not have to sing.
Pop Idol mastermind Simon Fuller, 57, is behind the venture — and is believed to have promised reluctant Victoria her vocals will not be needed.
A source close to the band said: “This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again.
“But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year.
“It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back.”
They are considering TV projects in China, a new telly talent show, endorsement deals and a compilation album celebrating their greatest hits.
Our insider added: “Victoria and Geri agreed it would be impossible to be part of a fully-fledged tour because of family and business commitments.
“Now that she’s a top designer Victoria is concerned about singing but she wants to make money to pump back into her business.”
