Towie beauty Yazmin Oukhellou once starred in Burger King ads
TOWIE babe Yazmin Oukhellou started her showbiz career at the age of just eight — when she starred in a series of adverts for Burger King.
The 24-year-old brunette beauty — who is in a relationship with James 'Lockie' Lock on the ITV reality show — took her first steps to stardom as a child when she was cast in the fast food giant's UK TV campaign.
Yazmin admits she was desperate to scoff as many hamburgers as she could when filming her scenes but her bosses stopped her.
She said: "I used to do Burger King adverts. I was a little kid and I'd be eating the burgers and playing with the little toys, I was about eight. I didn't get to eat loads of burgers, I wanted to but they wouldn't let me."
Yazmin dreams of moving on from The Only Way Is Essex into acting.
And as well as starring in Burger King ads as a kid, she also was an extra in EastEnders.
She added: "I would love to get into acting, it's something I've always done since I was young. I was an extra in EastEnders and I did other things like that."
Lockie is yet to see his girlfriend's Burger King ads but knows Yazmin's mum has copies of the commercials recorded on video.
And he revealed he's going to get her to dig them out, saying: "With the Burger King ads I think her Mum has got them on video, she's got them somewhere. I don't think she wants me to see them!"
Despite childhood acting jobs for Burger King and EastEnders, Yazmin also devoted time to education.
She studied at Newcastle University and founded her own swimwear brand, proving she's not just a pretty face.
Yazmin joined the ranks of other Towie girls who have their own boutiques, including Gemma Collins and James' former girlfriend Danielle Armstrong.
James, 30, first mentioned a new lady in his life during the 2016 Towie Christmas Special, when he had a showdown with Danielle.
The star told James to "try and treat this new girl better" during their row, which came just before her departure from the show.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, James revealed his Yazmin had decided to be part of the ITVBe show for their sake of their relationship.
He said: "I've been seeing her for a little while, and obviously the show is based on reality and what’s going on in our lives so she’s been brought into the show.
"We had a chat and it was her choice, and she said for the sake of me and her she’d give it a go. And she’s come on and she’s like a fish in water, she’s doing really well.”
