SPENCER Matthews and Vogue Williams are engaged.
The former Made In Chelsea star got down on one knee live on stage in London after a performance of the Lion King.
Speaking about the moment he proposed, Spencer said: “I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time.
“We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.
“The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”
A spokesperson for Spencer and Vogue said: “The couple are absolutely over the moon and thrilled to share their exciting news.”
Spencer, 28, and 32-year-old Vogue watched the show from the best seats in the house at London's Lyceum theatre before going on an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the theatre.
The tour then culminated on the beautifully lit-up stage, where the couple were left for a few moments in private for Spencer’s surprise proposal.
Spencer and Vogue have been an item since meeting on skiing competition The Jump at the end of 2016.
By March, the pair had confirmed their romance, and since then they have even moved in together as their romance hots up.
She previously explained to that she and Spencer, 29, would need their very own property and not live in his bachelor pad – because she has so much stuff.
Spencer recently compared Vogue to Cindy Crawford on Instagram saying that he was dating a younger and better looking version of the supermodel.
Speaking to The Independent about her romance, Vogue said: “Spencer’s not what people think he is from the TV show.
“He was 18 or 19 going into the TV show living his life like a normal guy. He’s grown up. He’s not like that any more.
"If you met him, you would think he was such a lovely person.
“My family love him, I get on great with his family – it’s all really nice.”
