What Would Your Kid Do? 8pm, ITV
Jason Manford (right) hosts this new series which takes the best bits of The Secret Life Of 5 Year Olds – where the kids’ honesty is tested with things such as chocolate cake they’re asked not to eat – and turns it into a game show, as parents predict how their children will behave.
It’s Jason’s interactions with the children – think Kids Say The Funniest Things – that really make the show.
“Do Mum and Dad ever do anything embarrassing?” he asks one of the youngsters. “Yes – my mum farts on the way to the toilet.” You’ll be giggling along as the parents sit there crying.
Back In Time For Tea, 8pm, BBC Two
The ‘living history’ experiment returns, now hosted by Sara Cox (centre).
This six-part series is right up Bolton-born Sara’s street, as it explores the lives of working-class northerners.
The Ellis family (left) from Bradford journey back to 1918 then through to the 1990s with a focus on food, giving us a real taste of the past.
The Secret Life of 5 Year Old All Girls, 8pm, Channel 4
To celebrate women securing the right to vote 100 years ago, this one-off special following kids in the classroom and playground is girls only.
Returning little ones Eva, Jet (second left), Miylah (right) and Zaina are joined by new faces to give their take on what they believe women can and can’t do in 2018, with many amusing comments.
Elizabeth: Our Queen, 9pm, Channel 5
This eight-part series looks at the life of one of the most famous women in the world: Queen Elizabeth.
It starts with her early years and tells how, until her uncle’s dramatic abdication from the throne when she was just 10, Elizabeth (centre) had a quiet life away from the public eye – she even found out she would be a future queen on her way home from a swimming lesson!
Flatpack Empire, 9pm, BBC Two
There are few people in the world who haven’t heard of IKEA, but the Swedish furniture brand is notoriously secretive.
This three-part documentary is set to lift the lid on its design and production processes, and follows a group of new managers, including Paul (above), as they undertake important training. Intriguing.
