Who is Cuba Gooding Jr. and who's his former partner Sara Kapfer?
Cuba Gooding Jr. was born in The Bronx, New York, on January 2, 1968.
In 1996, he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire. His "Show me the money!" line in the film became a catchphrase across the world.
Cuba's first job in showbiz was as a breakdancer - a gig that saw him perform with Lionel Richie at the closing ceremonies of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Gooding Jr. married his high school sweetheart, Sara Kapfer, in 1994 - and the pair have three children together.
However, in 2014, Kapfer - a teacher - filed for legal separation from Gooding and the actor filed for divorce in January 2017.
Gooding hasn’t commented publicly on the divorce, but he talked about his relationship during a 2016 interview on The Steve Harvey Show.
He said: “Listen, you know how things happen. Things happen, you grow up … I took my wife on a date the other day. Took her to see a movie the other day. Yeah. We got kids, man. We got to keep this together, strong, you know? That’s how I see it.”
