Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood have explosive NTAs bust up after Chris accuses Olivia of ‘flirting’ with Hollyoaks star
LOVE Island stars Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes spent the "whole night apart" and were spotted having a heated fight at yesterday evening's National Television Awards.
Their explosive row came as the couple revealed they had landed their own ITVBe show, Crackin' On.
Despite arriving at the NTAs together and appearing more loved-up than ever on the red carpet, the pair - who have been together since they both starred in Love Island 2017 - spent the whole night separately.
The Sun Online spoke to Chris, 24, during the evening and he appeared to be in a foul mood.
When asked about the new show he is making with his 26-year-old girlfriend Olivia, he said: "We're just doing what we need to do."
The reality TV star was then asked how his night was going, and he responded: "I'm having a below average night."
However, at just after midnight their bust up really kicked off at the NTA's official afterparty.
An onlooker exclusively told The Sun Online: "They spent the whole night apart - Chris with his friends, Liv with hers.
"At one point, Liv was sitting with two friends - it was around 12:30am - when Chris stormed over and said something to Liv.
"They were clearly rowing - he was waving his hands around and gesticulating and she looked like she was holding back tears.
"She kept putting her hands up to her face.
The source continued: "Chris stormed off back into the party and then stormed back over to her. He was really shouting in her face at one point. Then he stormed off again and didn't come back."
An insider tells The Sun Online the row kicked off after Chris spotted Olivia speaking to Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson and accused her of 'flirting' with him.
"He was saying she was flirting with Ashley because he saw her laughing and flicking her hair when she spoke to him."
Ashley is happily engaged to the mother of his two children, Karen McKay, and our insider says Liv wasn't flirting with him.
Chris and Olivia's argument comes after the pair announced earlier this week they were starring in a new fly-on-the-wall show together. The new series, to be aired later this year, will see the couple move in together and attempt to make their relationship work.
Since leaving the Love Island villa, the couple have had a tumultuous relationship. Chris was recently caught cosying up to another woman in a nightclub and before that Katie Price revealed 52 secret messages Chris sent to her on Snapchat.
