Emmerdale’s Danny Miller reveals the emotional inspiration behind Aaron Dingle’s hard-hitting scenes

EMMERDALE'S Danny Miller has revealed how he channels emotion for his hard-hitting scenes.
The actor, 27, who plays Aaron Dingle in the soap, has been praised for his sexual abuse storyline and his rocky romance with Robert Sugden has made him a fan favourite.
Speaking to the Danny said: "I think you just have to get in that mindset.
"I've got a little niece Kaitlin, eight, but she's more like a little sister. I always try and imagine what it was like having her go through these things, whether that’s being bullied at school if she was bullying someone or taking drugs or something like that.
"I always put myself in the position that if that was me, or my son, or my little brother, or whatever.
"The person going through it, how would they be in it."
The star is nominated for Best Serial Drama performance at this week's National Television Awards.
He's been nominated for the award three times before but is yet to win.
Earlier this month Danny came in for criticism from viewers during an appearance on Loose Women.
The star was accused of making a rude hand gesture behind Keith Lemon's back on the daytime TV show.
He wrote: "Ha! FINALLY get why people think I was being rude this morning.
"THAT ✊🏼 was ‘get off the stage Keith’ & you’ll find THAT was part of the script & the show.
"THAT was the idea of Keith being on the show.
"Popping up everywhere? Wow people! I ❤️ @lemontwittor so chill 😂😂. "
Keith agreed, tweeting Danny: "Love you too mate! Lot of fuss over nothing. Great seeing you!"
