Singer Dua Lipa splits with boyfriend Paul Klein — and is already back in contact with ex Isaac Carew
DUA LIPA told her fans how to avoid going back to an ex on hit single New Rules – and she might just need to take her own advice.
I can reveal she has split from musician boyfriend PAUL KLEIN after five months, but is already back in contact with her ex ISAAC CAREW.
Dua and Paul — who is in the rock band LANY — got together after meeting at the British Summertime gigs in London’s Hyde Park last summer and spent Christmas together in London.
But their romance fizzled out earlier this month and Dua has now been messaging celebrity chef and model Isaac, who she dated for two years until last February.
A music source said: “Dua and Paul had a really good time together but things just didn’t work out.
“She is very positive about the situation though, and has been pouring her emotions into her new album, which she has been writing in Jamaica and Los Angeles.
“The break-up has brought back memories of Isaac, who she split with this time last year.
“She has been messaging him again but she has been out of the country for the last few weeks so they haven’t seen each other.”
There is plenty of good news to keep Dua distracted, though.
She has been rehearsing for her performance at next month’s Brit Awards, where she has been nominated for five prizes — the most a female solo artist has ever received.
On top of that, she has racked up 35million views in a week for the video to new single IDGAF, which was up to No14 in Friday’s singles chart.
She hinted at her break-up in two posts on her Instagram account.
Dua wrote: “Leave behind anything or anyone who stresses your heart out.”
She added: “Note to self: sometimes caring about everyone and everything can cause you and your heart stress. But never change the way you love and care about people even if it means you get stuck in the s*** for it.”
Sounds like she is on the right track to me.

GWYNETH PALTROW hasn’t looked this happy on-stage since winning her Oscar for Shakespeare In Love.
The newly engaged star beamed while flashing her huge ring at the Producers Guild Awards.
Gwynnie – previously wed to COLDPLAY’s CHRIS MARTIN – consciously coupled with director Brad Falchuk last week.
She was joined at the bash in Beverly Hills by REESE WITHERSPOON, TOM HANKS, MARY J BLIGE and MORGAN FREEMAN.

ED SHEERAN is returning to pals RUDIMENTAL for his next tunes.
The newly engaged singer teamed up with the drum and bass quartet on Bloodstream in 2014 and Lay It All On Me the following year.
Now more collaborations are on the way.
In an exclusive chat, the band’s KESI DRYDEN said: “We are good friends and we get in the studio now and again.
"There is music that is yet to be heard. I think one, two or even a few songs will surface in some form at some point this year.”
They’ve also worked with JESS GLYNNE, MACKLEMORE and DAN CAPLEN on single These Days, which was out on Friday.
Shakira: Whenever, wear feathers
IT’S almost eight years since SHAKIRA sold out London’s O2 Arena and lit up the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
But fans, like me, who are eager to see her again after so long are in luck.
I can reveal Shakira will finally return this summer, bringing her El Dorado World Tour to the capital – and the O2 once again – with tickets going on sale this Friday.
The She Wolf singer, who has sold more than 60million records worldwide, will stop off in the UK on June 11 as part of 19 dates in Europe.
She said: “I can’t wait to be onstage in London again singing along with all of you, all of your favourites and mine. It’s going to be fun. The road to El Dorado starts now.”
Shakira was the most-played female artist on YouTube last year, thanks to her video for Chantaje with fellow Colombian MALUMA. That track alone has racked up more than two billion views.
Over the years she has scored six UK Top Tens, including Whenever, Wherever, plus the chart-toppers Hips Don’t Lie and her collaboration with BEYONCE, Beautiful Liar.
There should be more than enough hits in there to have everyone dancing.

- THE SMITHS founding members MIKE JOYCE, ANDY ROURKE and CRAIG GANNON will reunite for the first time in 30 years – without MORRISSEY. They will play with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra for the Classically Smiths concerts this summer.
- YET another Disney classic is being remade. Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is in negotiations to helm a live-action version of 1963 animated fantasy The Sword In The Stone. Game of Thrones producer Bryan Cogman has written the script.
- LENNY KRAVITZ will be returning to the UK this June for his first British shows since 2015. He will play Manchester, Birmingham and London as part of his Raise Vibration tour in Europe. Expect to hear new music due to be released in the spring.
A Mid-nightmare
THINGS have gone from bad to worse for 5 AFTER MIDNIGHT.
After I revealed on Saturday that the 2016 X Factor finalists had been dropped by record label Syco, band member KIERAN ALLEYNE has quit, leaving just JORDAN LEE and NATHAN LEWIS.
He wrote on Instagram: “I have made the difficult decision to leave 5am and 110 per cent focus on becoming a solo artist off the back of recent changes.
“I wish Nathan and Jordan every success and they will be superstars in their chosen paths too, so please continue to support them and 5am.”
They will need all the best wishes they can get.
