Celebrity Big Brother’s Rachel Johnson reveals Ann Widdecombe’s ‘clever game-plan’ and says she ‘plays up to the cameras’ because she wants to win
CELEBRITY Big Brother’s Rachel Johnson has accused Ann Widdecombe of “playing up to the cameras” to win the show.
Rachel, 52, was up against Ann, 70, for eviction, but lost her place in the house last night, and just hours after leaving the compound the journalist revealed the former Tory MP has a game plan.
She told The Sun Online: “Ann was a great addition the house because she’s forceful and uncompromising but her positions are not appropriate in this current age.
“I respect her for her for standing by her convictions but I don’t agree with her.
“Don’t forget Ann did Strictly and she does pantomime. She is very good at mugging for the cameras.
"If you watch her as I have done for two and a half weeks. You will see her doing a reaction shot every time something happens. She will cover her head with a towel, or she’ll touch her face and stare.”
Rachel says that with the “older women” are being voted out, Ann will become a “necessary figure” in the house.
The journalist explained: “She is the moral conscious of the house and she will continue that presence in the narrative.
“As the older women get picked off, Ann will become an arbiter. She will keep the house clean in a moral sense. She is a necessary figure in the house. Everyone else is free and easy.”
With Ann surviving the latest eviction, Rachel believes she will be all the more spurred on to win, however she disagrees that an “anti-feminist” should win the show, especially seeing as it’s meant to be “Year of the Woman”.
Rachel continued: “I think Ann having survived this eviction will be determined to win. I think it would be ironic given it’s the year of the woman and you’ve got an anti-feminist who’s going to win it. I don’t know how Channel 5 would work with that.
“I want Ann to go next. For the reason I don’t think she likes women.
“She makes no secret that she prefers the company of men. She put up with me because I talked to her about politics and history.

“If you add her views into the mix. She would be a controversial happen. Stranger things have happened. It could be another Trump or Brexit.
“Everyone wants someone on message to win. Someone who understands what appropriate means these days.
“But the public don’t want to be directed. That’s all.”
