The Chatty Man host Alan Carr and fiance Paul Drayton tie the knot in secret wedding in LA after proposing with a ring in a pudding
Their ceremony in California only had four guests and now they're jetting off to Mexico for a relaxing tropical honeymoon
TELLY joker Alan Carr has secretly tied the knot after his fiancé placed a ring in his pudding.
The Chatty Man host and Paul Drayton — together ten years — got married in front of just four guests in a tiny US ceremony.
After the service in Los Angeles they set off to Mexico for a honeymoon.
Alan, 41, told The Sun in September 2016 that his partner proposed during a meal as they shared a break in Indonesia.
Paul placed an engagement ring in the Channel 4 star’s dessert — and unsuspecting Alan mistook it for a dislodged filling when he bit into it.
Now they have made their relationship official — watched only by their closest friends and family.
A source said: “Alan is hugely eccentric but, when it came to his wedding, he wanted to keep it as private as possible.
“They chose Los Angeles because it’s away from prying eyes and they wouldn’t be recognised — plus there’s no issue with the weather there.
“It was a brilliant day and now both Alan and Paul are looking forward to chilling out in South America.
“It was as intimate as you could imagine with just four guests invited.”
Alan is planning a huge British-based wedding bash when he and 46-year-old actor Paul return from honeymoon, which will allow more of their family and friends to celebrate their nuptials.
