Calum Best jokes he looks stoned as rows of needles stick out of his forehead during acupuncture session
Celebrity Big Brother star looked like he was in a zen-like state after his session tonight
CALUM Best joked he looked “stoned” as he shared snaps of a recent acupuncture session.
The 36-year-old shared pictures of himself with needles sticking out of his forehead on Instagram.
Acupuncture stimulates sensory nerves and produces natural substances like “pain relieving endorphins”.
Posting the pictures online, Calum captioned the snaps: “Please excuse how stoned I look but u get a great buzz from this acupuncture.
“This acupuncture treatment is anti-ageing and hydrating.
“Rebecca added points in my hands and feet to improve the overall effect of the treatment.
“The ear needles can help be de-stress and is also helpful for addiction.
“I had a face and head massage to finish which is always a treat.”
Calum has made no secret of battling his own demons.
His father, footballer George Best, died in 2005 from multiple organ failure after a long battle with alcoholism.
When he passed away, Calum said he went off the rails and numbed his pain through drink and drugs.
Calum said: “I came back and snorted and drank and s***ged my way through everything.”
