The Last Leg, 10pm, Channel 4
Since The Last Leg has been off air, which has been a little over a month, Adam Hills (right) hasn’t had a platform to air his many, many rants, so expect a splurge of tirades in the first episode of the 13th series.
He and co-hosts Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe will once again provide offbeat commentary on significant moments of the past seven days and try to engage guests from the diverse worlds of comedy, entertainment and politics in heated debates.
And it’s live, so anything could happen.
There’s no need to go down the pub if it’s Friday-night lad banter you’re after.
Monty Don’s Paradise Gardens, 9pm BBC Two
Monty (left) has travelled far and wide in his search for the best Islamic gardens, but back in the UK he discovers that what appears to be an English garden at Hestercombe House in Somerset actually takes its inspiration from Persian gardens.
A sight for sore eyes.
The Graham Norton Show, 10.35pm, BBC One
Tom Cruise (above) has graced Graham’s sofa many times but has never jumped up and down on it like he did on Oprah’s.
We’re hoping for a bonkers display of excitement from him tonight as he promotes Mission: Impossible 6, and we know Graham is too.
It’d make Paloma Faith, who’s chatting and singing, look like a wallflower.
Lethal Weapon, 9pm, ITV
You can tell a show is gaining momentum when famous guest stars start to appear.
This week, singer JoJo (right) appears as pop star Shaye, whose bodyguard dies in mysterious circumstances, and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans, left) enlists the help of his daughter to educate him on modern music.
However, his wise-man status is still intact as he advises Riggs on his new relationship.
Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast, 8pm, Channel 4
We thought Craig David (centre) would be too busy making love on Friday to pop in to Jamie (left) and Jimmy’s (right) café, but he makes time in his packed schedule to learn some chef skills from Mr Oliver tonight.
On the menu is a traditional Caribbean chicken dish, which reminds Craig of his childhood.
