DANIELLE Lloyd revealed her four sons were desperate for a sister as she fights off criticism over her desire to choose the gender of her fifth child.
In an interview on today’s Loose Women, she suggested her boys were very much on board with her having a little girl next.
The glamour model, 34, said to the show’s all-female panel: “They keep saying to me ‘Mummy, is our little baby sister in there yet’ and I’m like no that’s just my food.”
She appeared on the programme to defend her desire to have a ‘designer baby’ – where IVF genetic screening allows parents to choose the gender of their child – after being hounded by online trolls.
The mum-of-four told the panel, which included Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, Nadia Sawalha, Stacey Soloman, that the biggest criticism over her choice came from people who can’t have children.
She said: “I totally sympathise them being in that situation because I’ve got four beautiful boys and I love them and I live for my kids.
“I do stand by my decision. I think for me it’s a about a family balance as well.
“I totally understand why there’s two sides to the story. Some people don’t agree with it, some people do.
“But I just think for me, I’ve always wanted that little baby girl.
“I love my boys and I’m so thankful that I’ve got them and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
The former Miss England and Miss Great Britain was then asked why she wanted to add a girl to her already extensive brood.
She replied: “I’ve got an amazing relationship with my mum, and I want to have that with my daughter.
“Boys go off they get girlfriends, and they play football, and do what ever.
“And I think for me and my mum, I call her like ten times a day.”

The reality star revealed that she still had a lot of research to do first before she committed to a ‘designer baby’.
She is currently with electrician Michael O’Neill, and the couple have a son who was born in September last year.
Before that she married footballer Jamie O’Hara in 2012 after the pair met on Celebrity Big Brother, and he is the father of her eldest three children.
