Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly break from tradition as they’re pictured the wrong way round in Blackpool
ANT and Dec broke the unwritten rule that they must always be pictured in the order their names are spoken today.
The Geordie duo are in Blackpool to launch the latest series of Britain's Got Talent and took a tram ride through the seaside resort with the judges.
The smiley pair posed beside Alesha Dixon, David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell, with Ant getting into the spirit by wearing a fluffy pink cowboy hat.
However, with Dec sitting on Ant's right the picture just didn't look right.
It's not the first time the pair have been seen the wrong way round, although it is rare for it to happen.
Throughout the years, the pair have temporarily become Dec and Ant. Notable occasions include meetings with Prince Charles, their time as caddies on a golf course and a selfie on stage.
Eagle-eyed fans also pointed out the role reversal in Alesha's snap, writing "Dec and Ant.".
The latter has been pictured for the first time without his wedding ring as he returned to work on the popular talent show.
He confirmed he was divorcing his wife of 11 years Lisa on Sunday in The Sun but looked happy and healthy in pictures taken today.
It comes after it was revealed Ant will pay wife Lisa £31million in Britain’s priciest celebrity divorce settlement.
I’m A Celebrity host Ant is prepared to part with half his fortune to end the 11-year marriage amicably.
A source said: “It’s a huge amount but he wants Lisa to be financially and emotionally supported.”
Ant is divorcing Lisa, 41, over health concerns after battling drug addiction.
The massive pay-out will become the biggest divorce settlement involving a UK celebrity.
A source said: “He wants things to be amicable and doesn’t want a drawn out court battle with Lisa. He still views her as a best friend and wants them both to be able to walk away from the marriage positively.
“He is happy to give Lisa 50 per cent in the divorce if that is what is agreed by their lawyers.
A source close to Lisa said: “She is not motivated by money and doesn’t want a fight. But this was a real shock to her so she’s not going to rush things either.”
