Aaron Chalmers quits Geordie Shore after four years on the show
AARON Chalmers has quit Geordie Shore to focus on his burgeoning professional fight career.
The 30-year-old has been a part of the reality show since 2014, but after three impressive victories for mixed martial arts promotion BAMMA he's decided on a shift in focus.
He's also found love with Talia Oatway, who he is said to be besotted with, and relationships have been notoriously hard to maintain in the Geordie Shore house.
The star will now look to progress further in the fight game, with the boozy culture of Geordie Shore far from ideal for a professional athlete.
A source told The Sun Online: "Nothing confirmed yet. MTV have not decided what show Aaron will be moving forward on."
Fans of the rowdy reality show need not worry though as MTV is in talks to bring back all the veteran stars – including Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison.
Aaron and Scotty T are also in discussions with MTV to take part in their own spin-off series after quitting the show that propelled them to fame in 2011.
A source told The Sun Online: “There’s a massive interest in the show’s biggest names and their fans will be given amazing access into their lives with this new spin off series.
“Talks have started and filming dates are being banded around.
“Charlotte already has one TV show and this series will be an extension to that. With more access into her life at home and at work. Her mum is going to be appearing on the show too.
“Gaz will be opening the doors to his life with his girlfriend Emma McVey and it will follow him as he goes through parenthood.
Charlotte Crosby has started filming another TV show which will follow her work and home life
“He’s got an enormous fan following and MTV think the show will be incredibly popular.
“Vicky’s series will follow her in the run up to her wedding with John Noble.
“She’s given MTV some massive shows, including Beach Body SOS, so bosses think a series following her in the run up to her big day would be just as successful.
“Scotty and Aaron will have cameras following them and whatever they’re doing. With Aaron it’s more than likely to be his fighting career which has really taken off.
“Bosses are really excited and think this mini spin off series for all the original stars will really take off.
“It's early days but everyone is on board and really excited about what the future holds for them at MTV.”
Geordie Shore is going to get a major overhaul – with bosses bringing in younger new stars to take over.
The source continued: “Some of the biggest names left and now they really need some new blood to spice up the show.
“They’re thinking about bringing in an age limit and keeping the stars of the show to under 25s.

“No one knows who it will work yet but the show is going through a massive shake up.”
The latest series of the show has seen Love Island star Sam Gowland join the cast.
Last year Abbie Holborn was the only new cast member brought onto the show when bosses decided to try and inject some more excitement into the popular programme.
