MILEY Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth "secretly got married in Australia over new year", according to new reports.
It comes after the pair sparked rumours they had wed after they were pictured wearing what looked like wedding bands while out for lunch with friends.
claim the A-listers tied the knot in Liam's native Australia when she went to visit him in Byron Bay, New South Wales for New Year's Eve.
An insider said: "It's such a special place for them (in Byron Bay). It felt right."
The couple split back in 2013 but got engaged - for the second time - in January 2016 while ringing in the New Year in Byron Bay.
Since then rumours have been circulating about the couple's marital status.
The source continued: "It's where they realised that they couldn't live without each other and decided to really give their relationship another go.
"It was a no-brainer that it'd be the place they tied the knot."
Meanwhile, the couple were all smiles as they celebrated Liam's 28th birthday over the weekend.
Miley looked gorgeous in an orange crop top and shorts and wore her hair in a high bun.
Miley recently told The Sun on Sunday that she didn't have plans to walk down the aisle anytime soon, saying she wanted to "live a little bit more" before becoming Liam's wife.
Possibly wanting to throw everyone off the scent she said: "I don't envision marriage. I'm 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more. I have too much living to do [before I get married]."
The Wrecking Ball singer added: "Three years ago, if you'd asked me if I'd be here, this happy with this man, I'd have been stunned."
"I'm just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else. Actually, it made me find myself more."

"I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it's possible to get even happier, I'll take it."
Speaking previously about their split, Miley told Billboard magazine: "I needed to change so much. And changing with someone else not changing like that is too hard.
"Suddenly you're like, 'I don't recognise you anymore'. We had to re-fall for each other."
