Ian Puleston-Davies sparks rumours Owen Armstrong is returning to the cobbles as he joins Coronation Street cast to celebrate Jack P Shepherd’s birthday
IAN Puleston-Davies has sparked rumours that he's returning to Coronation Street as Owen Armstrong as he joined the cast to celebrate Jack P Shepherd's birthday.
The actor has starred in dramas like Beowulf, Marcella and Tin Star since he left the soap but could he be making a return to Weatherfield?
He left the soap in 2015 following his split from Anna Windass, who is currently in prison after Pat Phelan framed her for pushing Seb off a ladder.
Could Owen be coming back from Scotland when he hears about her plight?
It remains to be seen if he'll be back but he spent Sunday night partying with Jack - who plays David Platt - as he celebrated his 30th birthday.
Jack looked dapper in black jeans, a black and white leopard print shirt and a navy blazer as he arrived at Neighbourhood Bar & Restaurant in Manchester for his big night.
The Corrie stalwart was joined by his new girlfriend Hanni Treweek who he has been with since late last year.
Other stars at the bash included Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker, Nicola Thorp - who was Pat Phelan's on screen daughter of the same name - and Julia Goulding, who played David Platt's former girlfriend Shona Ramsey.
Also at the party was returning Corrie star Alison King, Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew, and Rob Mallard, who plays Daniel Osbourne.
Adam and Scott Thomas were at the restaurant to welcome him and gave him a big hug as he arrived.
