EMMERDALE star Danny Miller has explained the cheeky hand gesture he made behind Keith Lemon's back on Loose Women yesterday.
In a post on Twitter, then actor said the gesture had been previously planned and was intended to signal Keith to "get off the stage."
He wrote: "Ha! FINALLY get why people think I was being rude this morning.
"THAT ✊🏼 was ‘get off the stage Keith’ & you’ll find THAT was part of the script & the show.
"THAT was the idea of Keith being on the show.
"Popping up everywhere? Wow people! I ❤️ @lemontwittor so chill 😂😂. "
Keith agreed, tweeting Danny: "Love you too mate! Lot of fuss over nothing. Great seeing you!"
Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were chatting to the Loose Women to find out what was on the programme when Keith Lemon tried to steal the show - and Danny appeared unimpressed.
The star, who plays Aaron Dingle on the soap, was there to chat about the current dramatic storyline, when comedian Keith came rushing on screen.
As Ruth and Eamonn tried to chat to the panel, Keith jumped about shouting: "I'm on, me, I'm on."
Danny, who was sat directly behind him, tried to shoo him off and made the gesture.
Eagle-eyed viewers spotted it and took to Twitter to point it out.
One person wrote: “OMG Danny Miller just did the w**ker sign on daytime television hahaha #thismorning
While another asked: “Did Danny miller just do the w**ker sign behind Keith lemon 😂😂 awks #LooseWomen #ThisMorning.”
And someone else tweeted: “As much as i’d find it hilarious if @DannyBMiller did the w**ker gesture i really think he was just saying “Get off” to @lemontwittor 😂 #ThisMorning #LooseWomen.”
