Critics’ Choice Awards 2018 best dressed: Angelina Jolie, Kaley Cuoco and Heidi Klum win the style stakes
Stylish stars were out in force for the 23rd Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica
ANGELINA Jolie, Kaley Cuoco and Heidi Klum stole the show as they arrived at the 23rd Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica this evening.
Actress and humanitarian Angelina, 42, wowed in a Ralph and Russo dress which was covered with feathers.
She was joined on the blue carpet by newly engaged Kaley.
The Big Bang Theory actress looked sensational in a rose pink, sequinned gown.
Kaley's plunging neckline was complimented by her long hair which had been curled into classic Hollywood waves.
Supermodel Heidi, whose show America’s Got Talent missed out on an award during the ceremony, wowed in a nude embellished gown which she teamed with gold stiletto heels.
Kate wowed in a off-white gown from The Brock Collection.
Her glam squad slicked back her long blonde hair and finished her look with a classic red lip.
Her unusual dress was praised by fashionistas - with many complimenting the lace detailing.
Gal Gadot was also showered with praise for her stunning choice of outfit for the glitzy ceremony.
US actress Jaimie Alexander followed Kate's lead by choosing an eccentric dress for her turn on the blue carpet.
The striking green and black dress had a feather covered hemline which showed off her matching platform shoes.
The long train of the gown billowed out behind the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D star as she posed for pictures.
Game Of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke looked effortlessly chic in a studded, black dress while Mary J Blige stood out from the crowd in a figure hugging, gold gown.
Leading lady Olivia Munn – who was praised following her debut hosting job at the swanky event – wowed the crowds in a stunning red gown.
The X Men star's dress had pretty silver embellishing at the top and Olivia was lauded by the fashion pack for her choice.
Samara Weaving looked sharp in a maroon one-piece while Madeline Brewer wowed the crowds with a full length sequin shirt that shimmered under the spotlights.
Jessica Chastain also bowled over fashionistas in a bold, emerald gown with a flowing train.
Not all the stars were praised for their choices however, with Margot Robbie, Diane Kruger and Jessica Biel all missing the mark with their style choices.
The ceremony, held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, saw Big Little Lies dominate proceedings with four gongs in total.
Nicole Kidman, who won Best Actress for her role in Big Little Lies, used her time on the podium to make up for “snubbing” her two adopted children during the Golden Globes on Monday.
She thanked “all her children” on stage, as the hit TV show wiped the board.
The 32-year-old Wonder Woman actress said: “I want to share this award with all the women and men who stand for what’s right, standing for those who can’t stand or speak for themselves.
“And I promise, my commitment to all of you is that I will never be silenced. And we will continue to band together to make strides uniting for equality.”
Alongside Big Little Lies, The Shape Of Water also picked up four gongs on the night.
Best Director winner Guillermo del Toro also made a big statement with his speech.
He told the delighted audience: “For everyone that has been unequal in working with women, let me show you who stands here with us and made this movie possible.
“Let me tell you one thing: you don’t know what you’re missing.”
