Not all the stars were praised for their choices however, with Margot Robbie, Diane Kruger and Jessica Biel all missing the mark with their style choices.

The ceremony, held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, saw Big Little Lies dominate proceedings with four gongs in total.

Olivia kicked off the show with a Toast To The Good Guys segment with Niecy Nash which left the audience in hysterics.

Nicole Kidman, who won Best Actress for her role in Big Little Lies, used her time on the podium to make up for “snubbing” her two adopted children during the Golden Globes on Monday.

She thanked “all her children” on stage, as the hit TV show wiped the board.

James Franco was a no-show at the ceremony, despite winning Best Actor for his part in The Disaster Artist.

“And I promise, my commitment to all of you is that I will never be silenced. And we will continue to band together to make strides uniting for equality.”
