What time is Eurovision: You Decide 2018 on BBC Two, who are the UK contestants and who’s presenting alongside Mel Giedroyc?
EUROVISION is heading to the beautiful city of Lisbon this year. But first the UK needs to select their representative.
Here's all you need to know about the BBC's Eurovision: You Decide extravaganza and when you can vote...
When is Eurovision: You Decide and what happens?
Eurovision: You Decide will see six hopefuls go head-to-head for the chance to represent the United Kingdom in May at the Eurovision final in Lisbon.
The annual deciding contest first aired in 2016 but similar formats ran since 1957, except for between 2011 and 2015 when the UK entrants were internally selected with the public having no say.
The competition will take place at the world-famous Brighton Dome, where ABBA stormed to victory at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with Waterloo.
The winner will be selected by a combination of the public vote and by a panel of industry experts who will be at the Brighton Dome to dish out their verdicts.
Eurovision: You Decide will be broadcast live on BBC Two on 7 February from 19:30.
Who is presenting Eurovision: You Decide?
National treasure Mel Giedroyc will return to present Eurovision: You Decide for the third time.
She will be joined by 2015 Eurovision winner Mans Zelmerlow.
Mel said: "My favourite time of year has come round again! I can't wait to hear the songs and meet the artists... It will be a night to remember.!"
Mans revealed: "I'm really, really looking forward to hosting Eurovision: You Decide together with Mel this year. I'm sure we'll have a great show and I would love to see the UK achieve a great result in Eurovision 2018."
Who are the judges?
Rylan Clark-Neal, Rochelle Humes and Tom Fletcher are to help decide the UK's fate at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The three panellists are to choose who will represent the nation at the famous competition, which this year will take place in Lisbon, Portugal in May.
Announcing his new role, Rylan said on Loose Women: “I’m having a nice little break but tomorrow I am a judge at Eurovision. I’m a massive Eurovision fan.
“Next year, get me a couple of beverages tomorrow night and I’ll do it. The public will be voting but we’ll have our say.”
Who are the UK hopefuls?
The identity of the six acts battling it out in Eurovision: You Decide have been confirmed as
- Asanda Jezile - a 16-year-old schoolgirl who made the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2013 when she was just 11.
- Goldstone - a girl group made up of Aimie Atkinson, Helen Wint and Rhiannon Porter. They've been together since 2013

When is Eurovision 2018 and which city is it taking place in?

It comes after singer Salvador Sorbal stormed to victory in 2017 with his song Amar Pelos Dois in Kiev, Ukraine.
