Jennifer Metcalfe sends a message of support to ex Sylvain Longchambon for Dancing on Ice despite him leaving her for Corrie’s Samia
JENNIFER Metcalfe has sent her support to her ex Sylvain Longchambon - despite their bitter breakup.
The Hollyoaks beauty, 34, has shown she is holding no grudges and is actually rooting for him to WIN the show with her co-star pal Stephanie Waring.
Jennifer told Sun Online: "I watched Dancing on Ice the other night and Steph is doing really well. I think she'll go really far."
Jennifer's world fell apart when she revealed the Frenchman left her on Christmas Day in 2013.
He then went on to date his Dancing On Ice partner Samia Ghadie, although the Coronation Street actress denied having anything to do with their break-up.
At the time Jen told The Sun how breaking up with Sylvain felt “like a death”.
Jennifer, who was 29 when Sylvain left her after two years together, said at the time: “It’s like a death. I felt gutted. It was the worst Christmas ever.
“You grieve for all the plans you had in your head. It is a grieving. When you cut someone out of your life like that it’s pretty harsh.”
The brunette beauty was hit hard by the break-up with hunky Sylvain, who she met on Dancing on Ice in 2011.
She said: “Our relationship was great, a really good two years. Marriage and kids were in vision. I loved the guy unconditionally inside and out. He adored me in every way.”

Despite her experience on Dancing on Ice, it certainly hasn't put Jen off from more reality shows - Strictly Come Dancing in particular.
The LighterLife Fast ambassador, who is excited to be returning to Hollyoaks in June after her maternity leave, said: "I'd love to do Strictly."
She joked: "Greg's not bothered about the curse. I'd be fine!"
