The Dingle duo were arrested after ransacking corrupt businessman Joe Tate’s house, with Charity leaving a special parting gift – and now she’s got to own up and say sorry
EMMERDALE’S Charity Dingle apologised to Joe Tate for doing a poo on his carpet tonight.
Charity and daughter Debbie ransacked the dodgy dealer’s house last week after discovering his plan to ruin the family – with Charity leaving a special parting gift.
In tonight’s episode the found themselves at the police station, with prepared Charity bringing some spare knickers, a toothbrush and a phone “to hide up there if we get backed up”.
However when the policeman came to speak to them they were horrified to learn that all they needed to do was apologise to Joe.
He told them: “All you have to do is go in there and say you’re sorry, and considering the mess you made on his carpet, I don’t think that’s too bad a deal.”
Charity begrudgingly told Joe: “I’m really, really, really, really sorry. I only wish there was some way to show you how sorry I am for leaving a turd on your living room floor.”
To which Joe responded calling them a, “Feral family, live hand to mouth.”
As they left Debbie told him: “No matter what you throw at us, you’re never gonna break us cause we’ve got each other. You’ve got some bloke you pay to be your mate.”
Last week viewers loved the moment Charity pooed on the carpet and backed her drastic action in her bid to get revenge and applauding her for her moment of glory.

One latecomer to the action was left confused and added: "Late tuning into this evening. Did Charity really do a Poo in the house she & Debbie just smashed up? 😂😂😂💩
A fifth fan also wrote: "Charity doing a poo in Joseph Tate's house was priceless. "
Others saw the oddly sweet moment was a sign of the family united, and said: "debbie trying to kick the door down and then charity joining in is the relationship i aspire to have with my mum tbh
