Love Island’s Kady McDermott reveals she felt threatened in her own home after pals of ex Scott Thomas swore at her and refused to leave boozy party
KADY McDermott has revealed she felt threatened in her own home after pals of ex-boyfriend Scott Thomas refused to leave a boozy party.
The Love Island star, 22, knew her relationship with Scott was over when his friends swore at her and she felt his partying antics had gone too far.
Police were called to the couple’s home in September where Scott was arrested on suspicion of assault – before being released again without charge.
But Kady recalls often arguing with Scott after he had been drinking and says their relationship failed as they’re completely different people.
In an exclusive interview she said: “That night was the end of our relationship. Scott likes to go out and is a party boy – he is very sociable everyone knows him in Manchester but I’m not like that.
“Everyone loves him and he has a big group of friends but he can’t just have one drink whereas I’m not a big drinker; I get drunk after a glass of wine.
“I had a masterclass the next day and had to be up at 6am and he decided to bring some guys back to ours who don’t have good names for themselves – they’re naughty boys who I didn’t know.
“They were making a racket and being really rude to me in my own house and when I asked them to leave they wouldn’t. They were swearing at me too – so I called the police.
“It was my house and I didn’t want people like that there and people get angry when they’re drunk too.”
And now Kady has vowed never to date another reality star after meeting Scott on Love Island in 2016.
She added: "I would never date another reality star, ever.
"I don’t like the fact everyone has been with everyone. I’ve had some slide into my DMs but I can’t say who. I just ignore them."
The star, who's made a name for herself after launching make up range By Kady and her Bikini Plan, is keen to return to Love Island now she's single again.

She said: "I will start dating again this year just not with any reality stars.
"I would go back on Love Island. I wouldn’t even have to think about it.
";I absolutely loved it and would go back in a heartbeat."
