DAVID Caves a Northern Irish actor who's back for a new series of Silent Witness.

Who is David Caves?
David is from Northern Ireland and was educated at the Campbell College, Belfast.
David's parents and his uncle were all teachers.
David - who studied modern languages, including French and German, at the University of St Andrews - intended to become a teacher.
But after working as a teacher in France, he found he had “lost the drive for the academic side of things” and ended up training at LAMDA, where he immersed himself in plays and musicals while studying.
He said: “I found I loved this medium and wanted to look into it more, to see what was out there and what drama school was about.
"So I did some research and decided to have a go, not really expecting anything to happen. I was naive and did not know how tough it was. I thought I was probably not good enough but something inside me told me I should have a go, so I did.”
Who does David Caves play in Silent Witness?
David Caves is Jack Hodgson in Silent Witness.
The character worked as a forensic scientist for the police before heading to the Lyell Centre, and regularly worked on murder investigations.
Nikki and Leo spotted his potential and offered Jack a job as the centre’s forensic expert.
Jack is a cage fighter in his spare time, and splits his time between forensics and training.

What else has David Caves been in?
David has had several notable roles in theatre, including Deflores in The Changeling, Southwark Playhouse; Macheath in The Beggar’s Opera at Regents Park Open Theatre and Bosola in The Duchess of Malfi, Northampton.
He also also featured in the 2014 TV documentary The Crime Thriller Club, which was presented by Bradley Walsh.
In 2016, Caves portrayed Clint Hill in the biographical drama film Jackie.
