Gwyneth Paltrow urges fans to neck cocktails laced with cannabis extract CBD

The Oscar-winning actress posted four recipes to her 'lifestyle' blog Goop

GWYNETH Paltrow urged fans to celebrate 2018 by necking drug-laced drinks.

The mum of two told followers of her so-called lifestyle blog Goop how to mix potent cocktails spiked with cannabis oil dubbed CBD.

They are called CBD cocktails after their cannabidoil ingredients.

And Oscar-winner Gwyneth, 45, included a series of recipes for weed cocktails such as Up in Smoke, Gin & Chronic and Cannabis Cup.

Her blog on the drug-laced drinks read: “Ringing in 2018 with a CBD-spiked cocktail intrigued many of us at Goop.

“Depending on where you live and what the laws are (they’re about to become even more relaxed here in Los Angeles), it seems like just about everyone is experimenting with cannabidoil (also known as CBD) oils and tinctures.

“Devotees swear it helps with everything from sleep and stress... and have started mixing it into smoothies, lattes, and—at certain restaurants and pop-ups around town—cocktails.

“Maxwell Reis was one of the first people we know to incorporate CBD into cocktails, and he... has developed insanely delicious cocktails just for us.”

Despite cannabis being legalised in many US states, there have been warnings from medical experts about drinking liquid forms of the drink - such as CBD cocktails.

They also strongly urge drinkers not to mix alcohol and drugs, even if they are legal.

The Sun on Sunday revealed last year how Gwyneth, who praises the benefits of cannabis, had taken lessons in how to smoke cannabis using a vape pen.
