CELEBRITY Big Brother fans were in hysterics at "miserable" Ann Widdicombe after she ignored the new housemates.
While all the other celebrities were socialising and getting to know the new arrivals, Ann looked solemn as she took a solo seat in the centre of the group.
The former politician could be seen clutching an empty champagne glass after comedian Dapper Laughs arrived.
As the camera panned out, Ann was surrounded by her housemates including an ecstatic India Willoughby who ran straight past Ann with her arms aloft.
Luckily for Ann, Dapper - real name Daniel O'Reilly - sat next to Anne and struck up a conversation, though she still didn't look thrilled.
Fans flocked to social media with some criticising Ann, while others defended her and were concerned she was being ignored.
One viewer asked Ann why she decided to take on the reality TV, tweeting: "@Ann_Widdicombe Hello Ann, why on Earth have you gone into #CBB? You don't look very happy in there at all!"
Another fan thought Ann might not last much longer inside the house: "Ann will leave before Monday, I think. And I won't be sorry to see her go."
A third viewer said: "I don't think Ann is going to have anything in common with the men who've gone in so far."
Another Celebrity Big Brother viewer branded Ann a "sour puss," writing: "Ann is such a sour puss. Lighten up, you're in the Big Brother house."
One viewer slammed the former politician: "Ann sitting on the sofa like what a miserable cow."
Not everyone was against Ann, one viewer wanted to comfort the housemate: "I feel like giving Ann a cuddle sitting there all by herself."
