CELEBRITY Big Brother host Emma Willis made a blunder during the launch show tonight as she forgot her microphone during a live trial.

The presenter had to run back into the house and grab it after accidentally leaving it behind.

She went into the house to oversee the first live trial, but forgot her mic and had to dash back to get it.

Emma  had to rush back inside and pick up her microphone and headed back to the stage to complete her next link.

After returning looking a little out of breath, she joked: "They can mend a switchboard but I can't remember the one thing that I need!"

After final CBB contestant Amanda Barrie entered the house, Emma appeared on screen to set them a challenge, but the lights went out and Big Brother apologised for the "technical difficulties".

The lights kept flickering and they were told to all go through a red door, out of the main house.

After the feed cut back to Emma outside, she explained that it wasn't really technical issues causing the black out - it's all part of the first task.

Moving into the task room with their other housemates, they were met by Emma Willis who told them all that they could win immunity if they can work in pairs to reconnect the wires to their necessary colours.

Declaring to the ladies that they were “21st century women”, Emma started the task.

Amanda and Jess Impiazzi won, and after the task Emma exited the house without her mic.
