JESS IMPIAZZI and Amanda Barrie have earned themselves immunity from the first Celebrity Big Brother eviction as Channel 5 kicked off.

The Ex on the Beach babe and the Coronation Street legend were put to the test within moments of entering the house and “all the lights went out”.

Moving into the task room with their other housemates, they were met by Emma Willis who told them all that they could win immunity if they can work in pairs to reconnect the wires to their necessary colours.

Declaring to the ladies that they were “21st century women”, Emma started the task.

Using spanners to gain access to the wires, they were told to pull a lever to reconnect the electricity once they’d completed the circuit, and together Amanda and Jess completed it in record time.

Meanwhile, Kardashian bestie Malika Haqq found herself getting into trouble as she chipped a nail within seconds of the task starting.

Amanda, Jess and Malika were joined by Ashley James, Ann Widdecombe, India Willoughby, Rachel Johnson and Maggie Oliver for the first all-female line-up of Celebrity Big Brother.

The compound has been given a feminine makeover as the show celebrates it being 100 years since women won the right to vote.

There are two bedrooms - each of which is named after a famous woman who campaigned for women's votes.

The Pankhurst room is named after Emmeline Pankhurst, the leader of the British suffragette movement and the other room is called Davison after political activist Emily Davison, who died when she threw herself under King George V's horse Anmer at the Epsom Derby in 1913.

Men are set to enter the house for the first time on Friday, but will not be allowed the right to vote at the beginning of their stay.
