Transgender model Talulah-Eve drops out of CBB after finding out rival India Willoughby has signed up

The 23-year-old, who made her name on Britain's Next Top Model, has now turned the reality show down twice

TALULAH-EVE has dropped out of Celebrity Big Brother after learning her rival India Willoughby has signed up.

The Britain's Next Top Model star, 23, was set to be part of the all-female launch show but did a U-turn after hearing of fellow transgender celeb India's involvement, which The Sun Online exclusively revealed in November.

A source told The Sun Online: "It’s now the second time Talulah’s turned down CBB. But this time for a different reason, the reports of India going in put her off.

"They both knew each other and got on in the past, but they recently appeared on Good Morning Britain and ended up having a very heated debate.

"After the show, India started indirectly insulting Talulah-Eve on Twitter, by retweeting nasty tweets about her voice.

"2017 was a great year for Talulah, with a lot in store for 2018. She wants to keep everything on the positive and felt that being in environment with India would not have gone down well at all.

"Talulah-Eve is a very strong but also very likeable character, who’s known for making compulsive viewing. However, she didn’t want to constantly be at loggerheads with India.”

A spokesman for CBB declined to comment.

CBB returns tonight on Channel 5 and will see 10 women enter the house in a nod to the centenary of women gaining the right to vote.

Back in November, Talulah received vile acid attack threats on Twitter which left her "shocked and shaken."

A source told us at the time: “Talulah is such a strong character, she’s trying to not let it affect her but she is human.

"Being in the public eye makes you enough of a target, let alone when you’re transgender.

"You’re very much a marked person at that point.

"People can be so hateful and it can get quite ugly. She’s used to being yelled at in the streets, even before she became famous.

"This acid threat has definitely knocked her for six. We’ve all seen how it’s become something of a trend.”

Talulah-Eve was thrust into the spotlight as the Britain's Next Top Model's first ever transgender contestant.
