Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei heartbroken after her beloved dog Ellie dies in her arms

SOPHIE Kasaei has been left heartbroken just days before Christmas after her beloved dog Ellie died.

The Geordie Shore star took to Twitter to share the sad news with her followers, posting a picture of her fluffy white pet.

She wrote alongside it: "I'm absolutely heartbroken, after 11 years with my little Ellie I have had to say goodbye.

"Never knew a dog could make me feel this pain but it has. She was my best friend.

"Ur in doggy heaven and glad I was back home in Newcastle to be there for your last breath. Love you ellz."

Sophie's heartbreak comes just weeks after she lost the other love of her life, ex-boyfriend Joel Corry.

The reality star revealed her partner of six years had dumped her over the phone back in September.

She told new! magazine: “I got out of the Geordie Shore house in September after filming and got a phone call from Joel.

"He was like, ‘I don’t know what it is Soph, but I just don’t think it’s going to work.’

“I was instantly like, ‘What the hell, is there another girl?’ He said there wasn’t but went, ‘I just don’t think that you and me will have a future because it’s just not what I want and I know you do.

'"You want to settle down, and it’s understandable, but it’s just not for me and it’s not what I want.’”

She added: "I’m not angry that it was over the phone because I’m in Newcastle and he was in London.

"But I moved to Essex for Joel, so I’m packing up and going back to Newcastle.”

And unlike her Geordie cast mates and their on-off breakups, Sophie’s has been contact free because Joel blocked her from phoning, texting, and contacting him on social media.

She continued: “That conversation happened a few months ago, and then he was like, ‘I’ve got to block you, because contact is going to be harder. I’m not blocking you because I hate you, I’m blocking you because I know it’s going to be easier.’”
