Who is Cherry Healey? Meet the TV presenter starring on Celeb SAS
Cherry has finally found love again after her time on the show
CHERRY Healey has been one of BBC Three’s brightest stars.
But in 2024, the TV presenter is taking on the gruelling challenge of Channel 4’s hit show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Cherry took on the shortened SAS course alongside Boris Johnson’s sister, Rachel, and actor John Barrowman, who quit just 32 minutes into the first episode.
Her switch to the Channel 4 show comes after her career in front of a camera on the BBC.
Aristocratic upbringing
Cherry was born on December 5, 1980, and comes from an aristocratic background.
Her father Nicholas is the son of a 4th Baronet and she descends from the Chadwyck-Healey baronets.
A baronet is the lowest ranking British hereditary title, just below a baron.
Cherry attended Cheltenham Ladies’ College, before completing a degree in drama.
She then went on to write for several big magazines, including Grazia, as well as making a name for herself on TV.
TV documentary maker
Cherry is best known for her stint on BBC, where she made documentaries tackling modern life’s problems.
They covered topics from money to anti-aging products to childbirth and sex.
She became the face of BBC2’s Inside The Factory in 2015, alongside Gregg Wallace.
In 2024, she’s back on the show alongside new co-host Paddy McGuinness.
Cherry Healey’s life off-screen
Cherry married her long-term partner Roly Allen in 2010, but they divorced in 2016.
They have two children together, Coco, born in 2009, and Edward, born in 2013.

“We’d been married for six years and together for eight and suddenly it felt like throwing my life up in the air and waiting to see where it landed.
“It involves so much sorting out of finances, a home; so you can’t crumble.
“You have to be strong, yet inside your heart’s breaking and it’s intensely painful.”
Love split
Cherry revealed that she had one final challenge after finishing filming Celeb SAS in 2023.
The star told : “Everyone finished SAS and I got back and my final challenge was waiting for me at home.
“I immediately broke up with the person I was dating because it was just absolute shenanigans.”
She added: “Doing the show was like the ultimate reset for me. It was like, ‘this is who you are and how you want to be treated.”
Cherry, who split from advertising executive Carl Kisseih in 2022 after six years together, went Instagram official with new beau marketing CEO Justin, in September 2024.
