New mum Cara De La Hoyde shares video of her writhing in agony during labour and says ‘it was worth every minute’

CARA De La Hoyde gave birth to a son with boyfriend Nathan Massey last week and has shared a video of herself on gas and air when she was in labour.

In the video the Love Island star can be seen hooked up to a hospital monitor and is making noises that sound like she’s in a great deal of pain.

She captioned the post: “So this the me last week this was happening but it was worth every minute happy 1 week birthday my little man (sic)”.

Cara’s baby has yet to be named.

She gave birth after initially splitting with partner Nathan – but the pair got back together shortly before she gave birth to their son.

Nathan posted a photo to Instagram when Cara was in labour.

He cheekily tagged it: “The day has finally come !!!! Myself and  have become parents to our beautiful baby boy !!! Massive hats off to Cara Who delivered our boy safely !!!!!   P.S I hope you don’t kill me for the pic Cara”.

Cara, 26, announced she was pregnant with her first child with Nathan back in May.

In August she revealed that the baby is a boy, saying she's very glad as she was hoping for one.

Last week, Cara admitted she and Nathan were growing impatient over the arrival of their little one in the run-up to Christmas.

Sharing a snap of the loved-up couple and their dog Sonny, she enthused: "So ready for Christmas now with my little family 🎅🏽�� even Sonny’s in the mood 🐶🙈 just one thing missing now 👶🏽💙."

Cara and Nathan split shortly after she discovered she was pregnant but the pair rekindled their romance in recent months.
