EastEnders’ Lauren Branning’s exit revealed as she plans to leave Walford with Josh Browning
Actress Jacqueline Jossa will be bowing out of the BBC soap at the end of the year and now it seems her character's exit has been confirmed
LAUREN Branning's exit from Walford has been confirmed in EastEnders.
The now unemployed admin assistant - who is played by actress Jacqueline Jossa in the BBC soap - has decided there's nothing left for her in Albert Square and is planning to join boyfriend Josh in Glasgow.
Josh, youngest son of evil rapist James Willmott-Brown, quit his job and landed another one in Glasgow.
Unfortunately before Lauren could break the news to Ian, he caught her with Josh putting an indelible mark on the Beale family sofa.
And predictably he wasn't happy finding the son of his mother's rapist locking lips with his grandson's mother in front of a picture of Pauline Fowler.
As Ian worked out that Lauren had moved on from Steven before he had died.
"I didn't have to come back here Ian, I came back here to make you happy," she said, slapping him.
"But you're never happy are you? That's why you've lost everyone."
Then as Josh stood up to Ian and told him they were in love.
He added: "After everything Steven's done to her, and Peter, she's been through hell. You should be happy she's found someone, Kathy is."
Storming out to see Kathy, Ian tried to convince her
"Luke plotted with his dad, Josh didn't know anything about their plans," Kathy said, knocking some sense into Ian.
But will he stand in the way of Lauren's happiness? Or will her murderous dad Max who made a shock appearance at the end of the episode?
