Andrew Ridgeley kisses a female friend as they lark about on a night out following Wham singer’s marriage split
ANDREW Ridgeley has been spotted kissing a mystery pal following the end of his marriage to Bananarama singer Keren Woodward.
The Wham! singer has had a turbulent 12 months following the death of former band mate George Michael and the breakdown of his marriage to Keren.
In a shocking series of pictures, Andrew can be seen snogging his female companion next to a pile of bin bags.
The pair were enjoying a night out in London's West End district when they made their way home in the early hours of the morning.
Andrew looked every inch the sophisticated gentleman in a tailored suit with matching trousers.
As they walked along the bustling streets, Andrew picked his nose while holding his friend's hand.
Andrew ended his 25-year marriage to Bananarama singer Keren in August but the recent pictures prove he's already moving on.
The split came amid Banarama's sold-out tour but Andrew, 54, has since been spotted attending several of Keren's concerts with the pair insisting they will remain good friends.
Speaking to The Mirror about his marriage breakdown, Andrew revealed: "As close friends, with different lives, we see each other as circumstances allow and retain a great affection for one another."
Keren confessed: "Yes,we've gone our separate ways. These things happen unfortunately, but we still speak.
"He's actually coming to quite a few of the dates on the new Bananarama tour."
Andrew made an emotional speech about George Michael's passing at the 2017 Brit awards ceremony, held at London's O2 arena in February.
Along with Wham's original backing singers Pepsi & Shirlie, he paid homage to George's brilliance, telling the audience, which included George's sisters Yioda and Melanie, he was 'the greatest singer-songwriter of his generation'.
He said: "On Christmas Day 2016, the greatest singer songwriter of his generation, an icon of his era, George Michael, was lost.
"A supernova in the shining stars had been extinguished and it felt like the sky had fallen in."
