Mel B wants to ‘revive plans for a Spice Girls reunion’ as she tries to rebuild fortune after £7 million divorce pay out
SPICE Girls fans could be in treat - Mel B wants to get the old band back together so she can fund her £7 million divorce from ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.
The singer, formerly known as Scary Spice, needs to beef up her bank balance as she possibly can - after having to fork out £175,000 on Stephen's lawyers’ fees, as well as having to pay him £11,300 a month for at least three years.
Mel - who reportedly splashed her £38million Spice Girls fortune on a £200k armoured car, £1million island and THREE waterfalls for her pool - will also have to cover the cost of splitting their joint business ventures, including their Los Angeles restaurant Serafina and their LA mansion, according to the .
To make matters worse, Mel's former nanny, Lorraine Gilles, is suing her for defamation to the tune of £2 million after allegations of threesome sex.
Mel's money problems were revealed when she faced Stephen in court earlier this year.
Jacalyn Davis, who represented Mel, said their financial woes were “sustained through improvident lifestyle choices”.

But Mel is planning to put it all behind her, and is on a mission to rebuild her life - and she's hoping Mel C, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham will be up for a Spice Girls reunion.
A source told the Mirror: “Mel is now on a revenge mission to rebuild her life and fortune without Stephen weighing her down.
“Top of the agenda is her desire to reform the Spice Girls, with or without Victoria Beckham, to get pieces in place to celebrate the group’s 25th anniversary in 2019.
“She knows that they can do something together and is hoping for new music, gigs and some kind of movie documentary about their success.”
Mel - who's also a judge on America's Got Talent and had solo musical success with the iconic pop tune Feels So Good - has enlisted the services of showbiz agent Ari Emanuel, and she hopes he'll help her become one of Hollywood's highest earners.
The source added: "Ari has the connections to make this happen. Posh may not want to sing but a documentary could work. Mel will also put herself up as a presenter, actress, face of endorsements and if the money is right, reality star.
“Mel feels her appeal and image means that she can easily get back to making new lucrative business deals.
“The world better get ready because she will be everywhere.”
